Anxiety comes in many forms.  Some experience a persistently tense, nervous mood, insomnia, or an inability to relax from stress.  Others have panic attacks with or without any obvious trigger.  Others struggle with one or more specific fears that are repetitive, excessive, or even “obsessive.”  My style is to first get to know you as a human being, then learn what symptoms or sources of anxiety and stress you’d like to address first.  From there, together we can choose an approach that can both be effective and suit your preferences.  If you would like to learn a guided relaxation or meditation technique in session, I am happy to record this to a CD for use at home, or for later transfer to an ipod, cell phone or other mp3 player.
