Depression comes in many forms and can appear very different from one person to the next.   Some will experience increased tearfulness or the blue, empty mood we usually think of as depression.  Others may primarily notice problems with irritability, sleep, appetite or energy level without a noticeable change in their day-to-day “mood.”  My style is to first get to know you as a human being, then learn what symptoms or sources of depression you’d like to address first.  From there, we can choose together an approach that will be effective and that suits your preferences.
